Asus Zenfone C Review :
Make Way For the Asus Zenfone C!
Asus Zenfone has always been quite a favourite model among the masses as they provide state of the art specifications at reasonable prices making them quite popular. It comes as no surprise that Asus has launched another model- the Zenfone C which seems quite impressive just like the other Zenfone models. You can get yourself one using coupons to get your hands on this latest smartphone that has taken over in the market.
Here is all you need to know about the latest Zenfone C that is all the rage right now. Let’s get started with the Asus Zenfone C Review and find out should you buy it or not.
Design :
Like other Zenfone models, this phone has a similar construction and design sense. The phone is available in red, black and white and has a nice sleek and shiny finish to it. Even though the capacitive buttons don’t have a back light, they are easy to locate as they appear to stand out prominently. However the screen is not bound to the top glass which gives it a bit more depth than regular smartphones and the plastic borders that surround the screen are thick and sturdy too. The phone weighs 150g which is not that heavy and is easy to work with and has a sophisticated curve round the edges.
Display :
The phone offers a 4.5 inch IPS LCD screen with a screen resolution of 480 x 854 which is not that high but the screen is fairly decent. The screen is easy to use and comes alive thanks to the ZenUI that comes with the phone giving it quite a good make over. The lock screen comes with amazing shortcuts such as direct access to the camera and dial pad making your work easy and effortless. You can resize and manage apps that you use frequently and the ones you don’t need. The screen is not extremely bright which might cause hindrance in sunlight.
Internals , Camera & Performance :
The phone runs on a dual core Intel Atom 1.2GHz processor making the phone speedy and nifty. The phone comes with 1GB RAM and also offers 8GB of internal storage. Carry your music, videos, movies and data wherever you go as the memory can be boosted to 64GB through an external memory card which comes as quite a plus point. The phone runs on Android Kitkat 4.4 which might disappoint those who’d prefer the Lollipop version of Android. The internals of the phone are pretty powerful making it quite easy to swipe through apps and perform a variety of tasks without interruptions and lags. It has shown good day to day performance.
Camera :
The camera is the only flaw to an otherwise good phone. The phone offers a 5MP primary camera and the photos are grainy and not quite sharp even in good sunlight. The camera has good focus and image stabilization but the photos appeared to be dull and it was no different in low lighting either. The colors come out good but the high detailing is missing in the photographs. This might be the only feature which might let down Asus fans. You can explore for other Asus smartphones using amazon coupons and get yourself a great smartphone worthy of showing off to your friends.
Performance :
The phone performs smoothly and most of it is due to the Intel chipset that powers the phone. Another advantage that Intel brings to the phone is amazing graphics which really bring alive the screen even though the resolution of the screen might be low. The phone has a heavy ZenUI which takes up space so you would require an external card slot to provide you with more space but overall the phone clocked good performance.
This is another good budget friendly smartphone in the market and surely one you can easily afford as it provides all the necessary features one looks for in a smartphone.
