Chuwi Vi8 Plus Review :
It is never easy to find a good and cheap tablet, to use at home. Many times the functions lack in fluidity, or the screen shows the signs of a cheap price. But there is something extremely interesting in using, and trying to judge these devices. In this case, we will try and see if the Chuwi Vi8 Plus can be worth the price. Let’s get the detailed information about this new Tablet in the below full Chuwi Vi8 Plus Review.
Design & Display :
As many other cheap tablets, it is made with plastic, which is helpful thinking about the fingerprints you could leave, but not necessarily the best looking one. The rear texture, though, makes everything look a little bit smoother. It is a 211.2 mm tall, 123.2 mm wide and only 9.3 mm thick, which makes it really easy to handle. The previous non-Dual version used to lack a Micro HDMI and WiDi output, a problem that was now solved, making it easy to connect the tablet to your television, or projector and so on. It has decent a 1280 x 800 WXGA IPS screen Full HD Display.
Bluetooth 4.0 and OTG are supported. Type-C USB port is included and makes files and pictures transfer rapid and easy. It also has a TF slot and is equipped with 2.0MP cameras, which would be perfectly good for the front camera, but definitely not enough for the rear one.

Performance & Hardware
The CPU Intel Cherry Trail Z8300, Quad Core 1.84GHz Cortex X86 and a 2GB RAM are perfectly functional for streaming videos, browsing, run multiple tabs and basic office docs. It must be said that it also features a 32GB ROM, which is uncommon in many cheap tablets, and also in way more expensive ones. If one thinks of the 16GB offered by the Dell Venue 8 7000 and compares the price, the result is positively surprising.
A TF card is of course not included, but the slot supports up to 64GB, which is also a good characteristic. It must also be mentioned that it does have good hardware options as compared to other options if you consider pricing section.
Battery :
Talking about the battery, it certainly cannot be compared to an Asus, or even to the battery life of a Lenovo Yoga 2, but again, at this price, and considered it is likely to be used in situations in which a bit of electric power will be available, it is more than enough. It can last almost six hours while streaming an HD video (it must be noticed, though, that we are not talking about Full HD, but of a decent 1280 x 800 WXGA IPS screen; that said, it offer a proper viewing experience while in a closed environment, but unfortunately it reveals to be not good enough under the sun).
Cameras
as we previously said, cannot be considered the best on the market. Try and take a picture with the, let’s say, Samsung Galaxy Tab S2, and you will notice a big difference, especially if, for some reason, you find yourself willing to print the photo in a decent size. The quality is that of a cheap smartphone camera, but if the goal is to be able to just share a few photos on a social network, rather than using them as a memoir for your own family, then again, it is not bad at all. Just to mention it: an iPad Mini 2 features a 5.0MB rear camera and only a 1.20MP front camera, and costs two or three times as much.
