The Cube is indeed a very good looking phablet that is equipped with a lot of good features, enough to put a smile on your face, for the price you are paying for it. That is right, priced at an economy level, the cube appears to be one of the best value for money devices you could possibly buy. Let’s Get some more detailed info about it in Cube U63 Review.
One good look at the specifications sheet shall also tell you that the Cube does not lack in terms of power and in its ability to multitask. Today we are going to take a look at the Cube U 63 in detail and while.we are at it, we are also going to take a look under the hood to see what makes it tick and we shall let you decide if it is worth your time and commitment.
DESIGN
Contents
The cube is not very different from a lot of offerings from multiple brands that are available in the market. But coming in at just 8.8 mm thick, it feels well engineered and sophisticated. A sleek, slim and a sexy looking device is the need of the hour and the staple of today’s trend and the Cube fits in really well.
Executed in a discerning white color, the cube conveys elegance and carries a lot of charm, something that is missing in a lot of the offerings from the competitors in their economy models, a refreshing change in trend indeed!
DISPLAY
This was what we had our eyes on when we first came across the Cube. We truly ached to know just how good the display was. The cube comes in with a 9.6 inch IPS capacitive display, with surprisingly good viewing angles. This comes down to the inherent nature of IPS displays to give some really good angles of view. The unit is a 1280*800 pixels set up, translating to a pixel density of 158 PPI. Remember this is an economy phablet.
PROCESSOR ,RAM AND BATTERY:-
If you are a smartphone enthusiast, you already know that expecting a Qualcomm processor in such a budget restrictive set up would simply be unreasonable and rightly so, the Cube is powered by a Mediatek quad-core processor that should handle multitasking fairly well. Complimenting the quad core mill is 1 GB of RAM. Quite under powered considering today s standards but then, anything more would have naturally led the retail price of the Cube to go up.
The show is run by a 4500 mah Lithium polymer battery and this feature is our personal favourite! An industry standard for many phablets in the market, this is ample amount of power to run the Cube for a day at least.
OPERATING SYSTEM AND STORAGE
The cube is run by Android 5.1 lollipop, another refreshingly good reason to buy the Cube at the price that it comes in. All of the latest multitasking features made available on the Lollipop OS are available on the Cube U63. The phablet has 16 GB of on board memory and has an expandable micro SD card slot. The Cube U63 absolutely nailed it in the storage department!
CAMERA
The Cube is equipped with a dual camera set up, but it is nothing really to write home about. Taking Skype video calls with the front camera is possible and the front camera merely does what it is supposed to do, take pictures at 1.92 MP.
CONNECTIVITY
The device boasts Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity along with USB 2.0 which marks a neat finishing touch to the overall.package.
