As a blogger, foodie and all-around millennial, I’m as attached to my phone as I am to my wallet. Sometimes, even more so. Therefore, it shouldn’t be surprising that I purchase a lot of accessories to augment my phone’s performance. Again, as a blogger and travel bug, it’s important that my phone has a good camera and photo quality. That’s why I took a chance and purchased 8X Telephoto Mobile Phone Lens Kit.
The kit comes with three of my favorite lens types: the macro lens, the wide angle lens, and the fisheye lens. The macro lens definitely did its job to capture the insects I shot during my latest forest run.
The image quality is so superb that it captured the very thin wings of the dragonflies I took photos of. What amazed me even more was the colors remained vivid, the greens of the leaves really stood out while keeping the macro details clear and sharp.
The wide angle lens, on the other hand was extremely handy during my trips and night-outs with my friends. It made taking group selfies way easier than doing it with just my phone. It was also easier and produced better qualities than using panorama! I got to shoot the beautiful streets in our town, and the rustic buildings we visited. I recommend using this to shoot the beach when going out of town. It’s definitely going to capture the wide beachfront and thus, the very atmosphere of freedom and relaxation.
Lastly, my favorite, the fish eye lens. It’s always fun to create shots with a fish eye lens. Not only does it blow up and focus the point vividly, it also creates that bottle effect that many try to achieve. I used this when I was riding a boat while island hopping. I took a shot of our guide at the tip of the boat, and let me tell you, it really was a good shot. It’s also fun to take selfies with a fish eye lens, as many people know.
The pros and cons of this kit is very obvious. For one, the advantage is you don’t need to buy a big bulky DLSR camera to take great shots. You can easily change lenses whenever you want because they’re extremely handy. It’s very traveler friendly! The only con? Is that you don’t have it yet!
